The Ford Fiesta (Mk7 Facelift) was marketed as a fun-to-drive, fuel-efficient compact car. The 1.0L EcoBoost mHEV engine promises an impressive 56.5 MPG combined fuel economy, but real-world tests often reveal figures closer to 48 MPG under normal driving conditions. Acceleration from 0-100 km/h in 9.4 seconds is adequate for city driving but lacks the punch expected from a sporty hatchback. The more powerful 1.5L EcoBoost (ST) variant does deliver on its 6.5 seconds 0-100 km/h claim, making it a thrilling option for enthusiasts.
The Fiesta excels in its compact size, making it easy to maneuver in tight urban environments. The 8-inch SYNC 3 touchscreen is intuitive and supports both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, enhancing connectivity.
