When I first unboxed the Redmi A5, I was met with a wave of excitement. The design looked sleek and modern, and I was eager to dive into its features. However, that initial thrill was quickly dampened when I noticed the cheap-feeling plastic back. For a phone that promises a premium experience, I was genuinely disappointed by the corners they cut.
I connected it to Wi-Fi and started browsing, and while the interface felt smooth, I couldn't shake the feeling that I was holding something that could easily fall apart. I was so annoyed when I realized that the display wasn't nearly as vibrant as I'd hoped. It was like the phone was boasting about having a great screen but was hiding a few flaws in its pocket.
Now, let’s talk about the processor performance. I was shocked to discover that the benchmark results were nowhere near what was advertised. The so-called flagship chip throttles to 60% performance after just three minutes of gaming—are you KIDDING me? I had high expectations for multitasking and gaming, but it was like I was using a mid-range phone instead of the powerhouse they promised.
In real-world performance, I faced a lot of frustrating moments. Opening multiple apps was a gamble; sometimes it would crash or take forever to reload.
