Your first week with the Bajaj CT 100 ES will feel surprisingly pleasant. Right out of the gate, you’ll appreciate how lightweight and easy to handle this motorcycle is. Whether you're weaving through traffic or cruising along open roads, handling the bike is a breeze.
You may notice that starting up is straightforward; the electric start system works reliably without the hassle of kick-starting. Just a simple press, and you're off. Over the week, however, expect to experience slightly less power compared to some competitors in its class—a trade-off for efficiency that becomes clearer as other riders zip past you on more powerful bikes.
The battery performance may catch you off guard—generally good for short commutes but not foolproof for extended rides. If you plan to use it daily, you'll find it handles frequent starts well enough, especially in urban settings.
However, there might be occasions when you realize it struggles during extended periods of inactivity or longer rides. This could lead to some frustration if you forget to ride your bike for a few days and then find yourself looking for a jump during your early morning rush.
Your comfort level on the Bajaj CT 100 ES will depend heavily on your body type and riding style. The seat offers decent cushioning suited for daily riding but lack of advanced ergonomics means longer trips could become uncomfortable after an hour or two.
You’ll likely enjoy the position at first, but if you often ride dual, remember that you'll feel congested on the pillion seat—just keep this in mind if carrying passengers is part of your plan.
Expect a smooth ride as you navigate through urban terrains. The suspension does a decent job soaking up bumps and imperfections on city streets. However, while it's capable of handling moderate potholes with relative ease, you'll still notice a jarring effect over larger obstacles.
For daily commuting needs, you'll appreciate its fuel efficiency; the mileage will leave you pleasantly surprised and often far cheaper than competing models. Just don't push it too much on freeway speeds—below 60 km/h tends to yield better results without drumming up excessive engine noise.
If you’re someone who frequently ventures onto highways or enjoys speedier performances, however, it may be wise to explore options with enhanced power. But if reliability and economy speak to your needs—particularly as an urban commuter—the Bajaj CT 100 ES could indeed be the efficient workhorse you've been seeking.
